THE CECILIA CHOIR

On Saturday, in the R.S.A. Hall, the annual recital of the Cecilia Choir will take place. Miss Meda Palne will conduct the choir, and Miss Thelma Gemmell will be the pianist. The main item on the programme will be Pergolesi's beautiful ""Stabat Mater." This work is made up of choruses, solos, and duets. In the second half of the programme several modern British part songs will be presented. These include Felix White's "All Our Joys Are But Toys," Brahms's " How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings," from "The Requiem," and works by Vaughan Williams. Kodaly, and E. J. Moerau. The solo singers include Alison Tvrie, Ray Stubbs, and Margaret Beattie. The booking arrangements are advertised.
