ROSLYN NURSING ASSOCIATION
MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Roslyn District Nursing Association was attended by Mrs A- R. Falconer (in the chair) Mesdames H. W. Bundle. H Laing. J. Whyte. H. Marshall. L. Chapman, Misses E. Rutherford. F A Wilkinson. J. Robertson, Dr A. R. Falconer Messrs J. L. Calder and J- M Dick Mrs Falconer referred to the passing of Mrs J. H. Mathesop, who had been one of the association’s helpers ever since the work had been begun in Roslyn Members naid tribute in the usual manner. The Roslyr Presbyterian Women’s Association had sent’a parcel of warm garments, but as there had been many demands for warm clothing the stock was rather low. Twenty-six bags of coal were given by sympathetic friends for distribution through the association during the snowy weather, and the recipients expressed their gratitude for such s ♦imcly gift. Notwithstanding the extreme conditions which interfered with the district nurse's work, the number of visits paid during July exceded those of the previous month.
