STAFF MEMBER HONOURED
A dance was given in Wilson Hall on Tuesday evening in honour of Miss Phyllis Webster, who is severing her connection with Messrs Smith, Wilson, Ltd., where she has been a valued member of the staff. The guests were received by Mr and Mrs John Wilson, assisted by Misses Irene, Gwenda, and Esma Wilson. After supper, Mr John Wilson, director of the firm, presented to Miss Webster, whose marriage will take place this month, a handsome tray as a \token of appreciation and good wishes. On behalf of the staff, Miss Webster was presented with a chromium gong as well as gifts from the guests, who brought something for the new home. The opportunity was taken by the staff of showing their respect to Miss M. A. Smith by presenting her with a leather-bound writing Those present were: Mr and Mrs John Wilson, Mr and Mrs W.
