SKILLED TRADESMEN
CONTINGENT FROM ENGLAND ARRIVAL AT WELLINGTON f Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 11. Yet another contingent of skilled tradesmen, immigrants under contract to the Government, arrived at Wellington from England to-day by the liner Arawa They numbered 50 and were all yount unmarried men who were trained artisans. They were met on arrival by officers of the State Placement Service. The Arawa brought also a further 10 men who had come independently to seek their fortunes. All except one were tradesmen, the other being a farmer. Some were accompanied by their wives and families.
