The Warsaw correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain says leave of absence will not be granted the Polish Army after August 13 owing to the belief that a showdown is likely, though this does not necessarily mean war. The Paris correspondent of the British United Press says the decision of M. Daladier to prolong his holiday confirms the impression in Paris that the Danzig situation is not expected to become acute. VEILED NAZI THREAT “MUST RETURN TO REICH” SPEECH TO CONTAIN SURPRISE PARIS, Aug. 10.
