DAMAGED AEROPLANE
A COMPLETE OVERHAUL (Per United Press Association! NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 10. Within a few days the Union Airways Lockheed Electra airliner Kahu, which was damaged when landing at the New Plymouth airport on July 23 will be flown from there to the Milson Aerodrome. Palmerston North, where it will be completely overhauled in the company’s workshops. Permission to make the flight has been granted by the Controller of Civil Aviation, Group Captain T. M. Wilkes.
