OPPOSED TO FARMERS’ UNION MEETING OF DAIRY FARMERS! (Per United Press Association) PALMERSTON N., July 20. Opposition to the attitude of the Farmers’ Union towards the Government. on the ground that it is prejudicial to the interests of those engaged in the dairy industry, was exnressed at a meeting of the Manawatu-West Coast Dairy Companies' Association, maintaining that the "uaranteed price or at least some other form of financial assistance, was absolutely necessary to enable the dairy farmers to meet costs.
