Doubt was expressed .by Cr A. S. Kinsman, at a meeting of the Timanl Borough Council recently, whether Timaru was receiving a fair allocation under the State, housing scheme, and on his motion, seconded by Cr M. HRichards, the council decided; “That in view of the house Shortage and the impending glut of skilled building tradesmen, we respectfully ' inquire from the Housing Department, if Timaru is receiving its fair allocation under the housing system."
