GLOOMY KNOW-ALLS

There are too many folk just now who know all about the future. They are prophesying gloom. They can see what is coming, writes the Rev. W. H. Elliott, in the Sunday Graphic. Nearly everybody seems to be In touch with "good authority.” What does that mean? Nothing at all, I think, except that most of us like to be a little important. “ Good authority ” sounds so well, and It is followed by that very knowing nod of the head. Take no notice of it!
