COMMUNITY SINGING
TO-MORROW’S PROGRAMME The weekly sing will be held in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy‘-Fuller-Hayward) at 12.15 p.m. to-morrow. The proceeds will be for the Sir Truby King memorial fund. Karitane nurses will be assisting, and will give special items. Miss Helen Liddell will give a vocal solo, and Miss Hilditch, matron, will speak. Two framed photographs of Grade Fields, autographed, a beautiful hearth rug, and a young collie pup will be offered for sale. Mr H. P Desmoulins will be the leader with Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. A good programme of new and old favourites will be sung. Mrs Mclntyre, who has charge of tfce stall, will be pleased to receive dowers and goods. The committee trusts that the public will support this worthy appeal, and large or email donation* will be appreciated.
