PERSONAL AND SOCIAL
An enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Miss Joan Chetwin, of Kew, when she entertained several relatives and friends at a “cup and saucer” evening, the guest of honour being Miss Isabel Williamson, a brideelect.
Mr and Mrs L. J. Greenberg, who will leave shortly to reside in Wellington, were the guests of honour on Saturday evening at a party given by Mrs A, C, Donaldson at her home in George street. A programme of music was enjoyed, those contributing items being Mrs Max Simenauer. Miss lona Livingstone and Mrs Greenberg. The guests included Dr and Mrs Max Simenauer, Mr and Mrs H. Leith, Mr and Mrs L. Jacobs. Mr and Mrs R. J Frame, Mesdames lies and Schnapp, Misses lona Livingstpne and J. Caradus, and Mr J. W. Aitken.
