HOMELESS JEWS
LANDING IN CUBA ALLOWED TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) HAVANA, June 6. (Received June 6, at 10 p.m.) The tragedy of 917 homeless Jews, who have been cruising for four days in West Indian waters, is almost over, for President Bru has relented and agreed to permit them to land, at least temporarily. It is expected that they will be landed on the Isle of Pines and housed in a concentration camp, apparently pending removal to other countries, with the expenses and cost of re-embarkation guaranteed by the Jewish aid societies.
