ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF MEN’S SOCIETY (Per United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 17. Fifty-five delegates from all districts of New Zealand assembled in New Plymouth to-day for the annual conference of the Church of England Men’s Society. The Bishop of Waikato (the Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington) presided. The annual report showed that there were now 35 branches with 681 members. while several new branches were in the process of formation. Addresses were delivered to-day by Bishop Cherrington and Mr F. W. Gilligan, principal of the Wanganui Collegiate School, and to-night by the Rev. E. J. Rich, vicar of Masterton.
