BURGLARIES IN AUCKLAND
SMALL REWARD FOR CRIMES DAYLIGHT ROBBERY IN CITY (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 17. Burglars broke into a theatre, garage, and land agency office at Mount Albert early this morning and stole sums which totalled about £9. A more daring theft was committed between 8.30 a.m. and mid-day, when a thief entered a house in Pitt street, in the city, ransacked the premises, and stole £4 from one room and an engagement ring from the possessions of a young woman who had the ring in keeping for her sister.
