BOWLING CENTRE

MEETING OF DELEGATES A meeting of delegates of the Dunedin Bowling Centre was held on Saturday night for the purpose of nominating officers and members of the council of the New Zealand Bowling Association for 1939-40. Mr S. Devereux presided. It was decided to accept the nominations of the Wellington Centre for the offices of president and honorary treasurer, and to support the nomination of the Christchurch Centre for the position of vice-president. The nominations were not forward at the meeting, but it was decided to accept the Wellington and Christchurch nominations, whoever they might be. Three nominations—Messrs J. Forster, G. A. Nelson, and E. Longworth—were received for two members from the Dunedin Centre on the council, and after a ballot Messrs Forster and Nelson were elected, their nominations to go forward to the New Zealand Association,
