LONDON CONFERENCE

THE ARAB DELEGATIONS MERGED INTO SINGLE UNIT LONDON, Feb. 9. Mr MacDonald has reconciled the Arabs representing the Defence Party and those representing the Grand Mufti's party into forming a single delegation. Ragheb Bey Nashashibi and Yakub Effendi Farraj, president and vicepresident of the Defence Party, were nominated as delegates on the joint delegation. Farraj is still in Palestine, and has been summoned by telegram. Nashashibi is unwell and was unable to attend to-night's conference at St. James's Palace, when the Arab case was opened by Jamal Husseini, a cousin of the Grand Mufti. It is understood that his concise 20minute statement included some proposals. It has been decided that Dr Weizmann's statement on February 8 and Jamal Husseini's to-day shall be published to-morrow, when the conference will be occupied fcy the British Government's comment on Dr Weizmann's statement. The next meeting with the Arab delegation has been fixed for February 11.
