THE MAUNGANUI

Twelve passengers disembarked at Milford Sound to walk the track, and *1 tourists and public works employee: boarded the ship there. The Tasman crossing was calm, ana although fog on the coast at first made it doubtful if the ship would put into Milford, visibility improved at the mouth of the sound, and visitors were given a good view of the majestic scenery when the vessel entered the sheltered waters.
