PLOT IN RUMANIA
AGAINST KING CAROL'S LIFE EXPLOSION OF A BOMB THE RINGLEADERS ARRESTED DRASTIC ACTION TAKEN (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, Jan. 10. (Received Jan. 10, at 9 p.m.) Reports which are reaching London leave no doubt that a serious plot against the life of King Carol was frustrated within the past two or three days, says the diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. It is believed that members of the Iron Guard, with confederates inside the palace, were responsible,
the premature explosion of a bomb leading to the discovery of the plot and the arrest of the ringleaders, against whom drastic action is believed to have been taken. The danger has now been removed but anxiety will be felt until it is certain that all revolutionaries have been apprehended.
