AIR OF SECRECY
STATE APPOINTMENT A HOLLYWOOD EXPERT WORK ON EXHIBITION COURT (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. A Hollywood expert, Mr S. Nelson, has been engaged by the Government to act in an advisory capacity in connection with the Government court at the Centennial Exhibiton. While considerable secrecy surrounds his appointment, it is understood that his duty is to co-ordinaU and supervise the departmental exhibits to obtain one coherent and uniform exhibit, and also to advise on modern nodelling and dioramic methods Official) of the Department of Industries nd Commence, to which Mr Nelson is attached, declined to give any information concerning his appointment or work. This policy of secrecy contrasts curiously with tht attitude adopted by other exhibition officials in respect to publicity. Mr Nelson, who has now been some time in the Dominion, has been travelling extensively through the country, much of the time by air. studying its scenic and other aspects. Questioned, he said that ho was not permited to .ive any information to the press. It is understood that Mi Nelson designed a number of sets for the Hollywood film of the South Sea islands. "The Hurricane,” and was also working in collaboration with Walt Disney.
