FAT SHEEP IN DEMAND I ... I SMALL YARDINGS AT WAIAREKA BETTER QUALITY STOCK The quality of the stock yarded at the weekly Waiareka stock sale yes-, terday morning was of better quality than "seen at previous sales recently. There was a small yarding of sheep, but prices for fat sheep improved. There was a poor demand for store sheep. Fat cattle sold up to recent rates. , . L.,Notman. t ,\ An informal evening was held“in the clubrooms of the Oamaru Boating Club on Monday night, when members of the club gathered to bid farewell to their president (Mr C. Cameron), who has been! transferred .to Wellington. The club captain (Mr R. Whittaker) presented the guest with a crystal-salad bowl and servers, and wished him and Mrs Cameron every success for the future. Several other members also spoke, and. Mr Cameron suitably replied.
