BRITISH BOY MIGRANTS

FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES LONDON, Dec. 3. Seven hundred suitable British boys who desire to go to Australia for farm work are unable to do so. because they cannot find £ls each. This is revealed by the Big Brother movement. The boys must have £5 10s for their passage, £2 is required for landing, 10s 6d for medical examination and £1 10s for pocket money on the voyage. Additional clothes are also required. Seventy per cent, of the boys are unable to find the money. They are healthy and desirable as future citizens and anxious for new opportunities. It is understood that steps will be taken to assist some of the boys to find the money. Applications are still being received from the provinces and from Scotland. A second party of 25 will go to Sydney in February.
