VATICAN CITY STORM
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING THE PALACE STRUCK VATICAN CITY, Dec. 22. (Received Dec. 23, at 2 a.m.) A violent thunderstorm, with lightning, struck the Vatican Palace, smashing the windows of the Loggia Raphael Gallery. The Pope was working nearby in his private library, which was not affected.
