THE GLENROY TRAGEDY MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER MELBOURNE, Dec. 21. At the conclusion of the inquest on Annie Wiseman and her niece, Phyllis, the coroner committed George Green, aged 38, a chimney sweep, for trial on a charge of murder. A message received on November 18 stated: —George Green, a chimney sweep, was charged with having murdered Miss Annie Wiseman (62) and her niece, Miss Phyllis Wiseman (17) at Glenroy during the week-end. The women were found strangled in their home. STRANDED BOMBER'S CREW WALKING TO MISSION SYDNEY, Dec. 21.
