OUR DEFENCE CADETS
TRAINING IN FLYING
GLIDERS TO BE USED (British Official Wireless) RUGBY. Dec. 19. (Received Dec. 20, at 6.30 p.m.) Gliding camps are to be established throughout England in 1939 to train the boys of the Air Defence Cadet Corps as a preliminary to power flying, according to an announcement by Air Commodore Chamier, Secretary General. of the Air League of the British Empire.
