TRAINING OF STUDENTS THE GOVERNMENT’S SCHEME (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON Dec. 20. Three New Zealanders who left three years ago with scholarships for Sydney University under the New Zealand Government’s scheme for the training of veterinary surgeons, returned by the Wanganella. They are B. A Taylor. E. J. Callaghan, and M. C Armstrong. All have completed the course and taken the B.V.Sc. degree, They mentioned that the course last year was extended to five years, but their studies in New Zealand before going to Sydney had been taken into account.
