Subsequently a report on the property ror recreation purposes was receivea Irom the city superintendent oi reserves (Mr D. Tan nocKi, and he wnoie-neartedly condemned the project. Practically every citizen in Dunedin has also condemned it. Whether the purchase is or is not to be tlnahsed nobody appears to Know. Councillor McMillan is apparently emphatically opposed to bungling. Will he, therefore, answer this simple question? Is he or is he not still in favour of the City Council purchasing the Passmore property? His reply will, Xam sure, be read with great interest by the citizens of Duneain. Judging, however, by his past political and civic record, I shall be greatiy surprised if he does answer it. —I am. etc.. Eye Wash.
