POLITICAL ADVISER
TO VICEROY OF INDIA A NEW POST CREATED LONDON, Dec. 18. The creation of a new post of political adviser by the Viceroy of India (the Marquess of Linlithgow) in his capacity as his Majesty's representative for the exercise of the functions of the Crown in its relations with the Indian States is regarded by the press as appropriate to the approach of federation.
