'COMPETITIVE DESIGNS THE WINNERS ANNOUNCED '■';'■: (Per United Press Association) . WELLINGTON, Dec. 19; The Petone Borough Council tonight unanimously approved of the choice of the adjudicator. Mr W. Gray Young, in awarding first place in'its centennial memorial bathing pavilion design competition to Mr Horace L. Massey. an Auckland architect. The award carries a prize of £IOO. Second place and a prize of £25 went to Mr Bernard W. Johns, of Wellington. There were 15 entrants. The memorial wiil be on the Petone foreshore, where the first settlers landed-
