STEPHENSON, & CO., ** LTD.. have received instructions from Mr John Aitchison (Hillgrove), who is giving up dairying, to sell by public auction, as above: COMPLETE DAIRY HERD AND PLANT, comprising:— 12 dairy Cows (in full milk) 5 two-year-old dairy Heifers (in full milk) 1 dairy Cow (close to profit) 2 empty Cows 3 yearling Heifers 1 Calf 1 Bull. HORSES: 2 10-year-old draught Geldings. IMPLEMENTS. ETC.: 5 Tip drays, 1 farm dray, 9ft disc harrows (practically new), harness, 90gallon Alfa Laval separator, 5 cream cans, buckets; also, for removal, cowbyre (36ft x lift), building (16ft x 12ft), practically new. AUCTIONEERS' NOTE.—Special attention is drawn to the Dairy Herd, which is an outstanding one. The herd, mostly Jersey cross, are young; all are sound and in excellent condition. The vendor has made a feature of dairying over a long period, breeding his cows on the property and only retaining the progeny of the best dams. The herd to-day is noted for its high production, and reflects the benefit of careful selection.
