OFFER BY CITY COUNCIL PURCHASE OF KAIKORAI TRAMS The City Council, at its meeting last night, decided to adhere to its original offer to the Dunedin and Kaikorai Tram Company for the purchase of its undertaking—£sooo, plus valuation for stock, tools, and rope. The question was discussed in committee, when it was decided that the offer should be final and that the company should be asked to complete the matter by Thursday of this week.
