MEETING OF CENTRE CHRISTMAS PAIRS TOURNEY Arrangements for the Christmas pairs\tournament were completed at a meeting of the Duneclin Bowling Centre which was held on Saturday night. The president (Mr S. Devereux) occup'ed the chair, and there was a full attendance of members. After a short discussion it was decided that there should be strict enforcement of the rule stipulating white or cream shirts and trousers at the tournament. It was pointed out that if a man arrived for play in any but the regulation costume his game would go to his opponent by default. The executive officers" report on the constitution of the Bowling Umpires' Association was adopted. The constitution was confirmed. Chi the recommendation of the Match Committee, it was decided that the games which were unfinished on Saturday December 3, should be. annulled. The Wednesday games* unfinished on December 14 were also annulled.
