A CHRISTMAS APPEAL

ro THE EDITOR

Sir,— May I once again appeal to your readers to help us at the Salvation Army men's shelter to give to the men of the home a happy time at Christmas. It has always been our desire to make Christmas a very real affair at the home, and it is only through the generosity of the people of Dundein that this can be done. We try to do our best to make the home a real-home during the year, but ~t this season we have to appeal to our many friends so that Christmas may be real 'in every sense of the word. Our telephone number is 13-143. and we shall be pleased to receive goods which sympathisers may care to give.—I am, etc., Charles V. Elford, Major. Dunedin. December 15.
