"ABERDEEN WHISKY"
MANUFACTURE IN JAPAN EVIDENCE AT GLASGOW TRIAL (Independent Cable Service) GLASGOW, Dec. 16. (Received Dec. 17, at 2 a.m.) During the trial of a firm charged with falsely applying the description " Scotch Whisky" to a blend of Irish and Scottish whiskies, an' expert stated that the Japanese were endeavouring to copy Scotch distilling. They even named a Japanese town "Aberdeen" so that they could call the produce "Aberdeen Whisky."
