They will carry nine 16-inch guns, and their speed will exceed 25 knots. The Navy Department also announced modification of the ban on rigi ] airship building, permitting the immediate construction for training and developmental purposes of a metal-covered airship 325 feet in length, with a gas capacity of 1.000. cubic feet.
