GORE WOMAN SENTENCED
SHORT TERM FOR ARSON AGE AND HEALTH CONSIDERED (Per United Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 3. In the Supreme Court this morning, Mr Justice Kennedy sentenced Marcelline Isabeth, a costumiere, of Gore, to six weeks’ imprisonment. She had been found guilty of arson Passing sentence, his Honor said he had taken into account the state of prisoner’s health and her age, stated by counsel to be 70, and had also given full effect to the jury s recommendation.
