A CHINESE FINED
POSSESSION OF OPIUM (Per United Press Association) MASTERTON, Nov. 3. A fine of £35 was imposed ,on a Chinese fruiterer, Loo Sui, this morning by Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court for having been found in possession of prepared opium and of utensils for smoking the drug.
