LICENSING COMMITTEE
DUNEDIN SOUTH TRANSFERS There were only two applications, both for permanent transfers of licences, to be dealt with by the quarterly meeting yesterday of the South Dunedin Licensing Committee. In the absence of the chairman (Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.), Mr J. J. Marlow presided, and there were also present Messrs E. Longworth. H. A. Newall, and A, D. Edgar. The applications were for transfers of the licences of the Bay View Hotel, Musselburgh, from Robert Kirkcaldie Aitcheson to Daniel Feming O’Connell, in support of which Mr G. M. Lloyd appeared, and of the St Kilda Hotel from David Porter Wilson to Saverio Massetti, in support of which Mr B. S. Irwin appeared. Both were granted.
