ELECTRICAL TRADERS
CONFERENCE OF FEDERATION INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 7. The annual conference of the New Zealand Electrical Traders’ Federation was held recently at Wellington, Mr J. M. Fleming presiding. The report stated that as the result of a membership campaign the numerical strength of local associations had been increased, and that a further organised effort was being planned. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr J. M. Fleming (Wellington); vice-presi-dent, Mr H. S. Lamburd (Wellington); Executive Committee —Messrs J. A. C. Allum and ’J. F. Armitage (Auckand), P. S. Turner and L. James (Canterbury), C. J. Darracott and H. P. Desmoulins (Dunedin), Fleming and Lamburd (Wellington Wholesalers’ Association), W. S. Cederholm and G. W. Waite (Wellington Contractors’ Association); Advisory Committee —Messrs S. Cory and Wright (Auckand). R. A. Redpath (Canterbury), C. S. Stewart (Dunedin), Fleming (Wellington Wholesalers), Cedeholm (Wellington Contractors); honorary auditor, Mr R. J. Porter (Wellington); secretary and treasurer. Mr Frank Ross (Wellington).
