DUNEDIN TRAVEL CLUB

The first annual meeting of the Dunedin Travel Club was held on Monday afternoon in the Council Chambers, Mr H. L. Gibson being in the chair The report showed the first year to have been filled with interesting activities, over 100 visitors being entertained at the morning teas held in the Vedic and at the two very successful 5 o’clock parties held in Wain's Hotel The balance sheet disclosed a small credit that was considered very satisfactory in view of the heavy non-recurring expenses of the first year. The following offlcers-bearers were appointed for the 1938-39 season:—Patron, His Worship the Mayor (Mr A. H. Allen); president, Mr H. L.
