TWO MAORIS CHARGER | <Peh United Press association i MASTERTON. Aug. $. Joseph Uru, aged 29, and' Hawea Governor, aged 24, two Maori labourers, appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning charged with breaking and entering the Hattiua Store''pn August 26 and stealing goods the property of M. G. Bailey, valued at; £3l 15s sd. , , f;-' On the application of the' police, the accused were remanded until September 15. Bail was allowed .in.each case, self in £IOO and one.surety of £2OO, or two of £IOO. An order w.ar also made that the accused report daily to the police if on bail. •"•'■, I , The police'stated: that several other charges of a similar nature were pending.
