THE SYDNEY CONFERENCE DEPARTURE OF DELEGATES (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Aug. 29. Eighteen of the British, Canadian, and New Zealand delegates to the British Commonwealth Relations Conference in Australia are passengers for Sydney by the Maunganui, which left Auckland to-night. A party of British delegates arrived at Auckland to-day after spending the past week touring the North Island. The New Zealand delegates on the Maunganui were Mr E. P. Hay, barrister. of Wellington, Mr D. O. Williams, a director of the Bank of New Zealand, Mr A. W Free barrister, of Wellington, Dr W B Sutch. of the secretariat of the Minister of Finance, and Mr W T. G Airey lecturer in history at the Auckland University College. Many of the delegates were accompanied by their wives.
