ALEXANDER.—On July 9. 1938, at Christchurch. James, beloved youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs A. Alexander, Castle street. North Dunedin. “At rest.” ANDERSON.—At Alexandra, on July 14. David Roland, beloved husband of Caroline Anderson and eldest son of the late David Ivor Anderson; aged 61 years. AULD.—On June 29, 1938, at his residence, 50 Ruskln street, Addington, Christchurch, John David (Jack), beloved husband of Williamlna Auld, late of Waitahuna and N.Z.R.; in his sixty-sixth year.

BARLOW.—On July 15, 1938. at Dunedin (suddenly), Eva, dearly loved wife of Alfred John Barlow, 5 Percy street, Dunedin South, and mother of Alfred Barlow, 81 Leckhampton court; aged 62 years. “At rest.”—A service will be held at the residence To-day (Saturday), at 1.15 p.m. Private interment. HALLIWELL.—On July 10, 1938, at 19 Jesmond terrace, Mount Albert, Auckland, Herbert, husband of Mary Halliwell and fourth son of the late Thomas Halliwell, Dunedin.

LELLIOTT.—On July 15, 1938, at the residence of his sister, Mrs McCulloch. 61 Royal crescent, Musselburgh, Charles Peter, third son of the late John and Sarah Lelliott; in his sixty-second year.
