TO-DAY’S FIXTURES At Carisbrook this afternoon the main match will be Pirates v. University B. The former team has been showing improved form of late, while University B created a surprise recently by defeating University A. As a curtain-raiser, an intermediale match. University G v. Higlj School A, will be played. ' . „ , At the Caledonian Ground. Union will meet Southern, and at Bishopscourt an interesting game is expected between Alhambra and Kaikorai. This match will be for the Murphy Memorial trophy, and more than usual interest is being' taken in the meeting of these two old rivals. A combined smoke concert, open to members of both clubs, will be held in the Kaikorai pavilion this evening. . . At Mosgiel Taien and Zingan will meet, and the University A-Dunedin match will be plaved at Tahuna Park. An unofficial Fifth Grade match, between McGlashan College and Pirates A. will be played at Littlebourne Park, commencing at 1.15
