rn rill- editor Sir. —I noticed in Thursday’s isssue that a Los Angeles visitor had given high praise to the New Zealand air services. He paid tribute to the exceptional skill displayed by the pilot and also noticed that the liner arrived at the airport exactly on time. I myself have travelled to Christchurch and back twice by the airliner, and can endorse everything stated by the American visitor. The comfort of the airliner certainly left nothing to be desired, and, in view of the time and inconvenience saved, there is no doub* that air travel is going to become more popular as time goes on. The next time I travel north I most certainly shall travel by air, and I can confidently recommend it to any who have not tried it before—l am, etc.. June 17. J. S.
