The Chanty Bali will be held in the Town Hall next Tuesday week Public appreciation of the standard set by previous functions and con fidence in a well-managed and equally populai achievement this year is already indicated by the de mand for tickets In keeping with previous functions the proceeds are to be devoted to deserving causes —the Plunket Society and the St Vincent de Paul Orphanages A 1 ways a picturesque and attractive pageant, this year’s presentation of debutantes to Dr Whyte Bishop of Dunedin, should provide a spectacular feature The Savonia Dance Band will provide a programme of dances both old and new The mem bers of the Suppei Committee have for several weeks past been work ing to provide a supper free of charge on the ticket proceeds Intending patrons are again reminded that the number of tickets is limited to a definite total Further particulars are advertised
