FELL INTO RIVER
ROYAL AIR FORCE MACHINE LOSS OF FLYING SPEED A NEW ZEALANDER KILLED (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) LONDON, June 15. A New Zealander, G. A. M. Baird, a pupil pilot at the Air Force Flying School at Brough, was drowned when his aeroplane fell into the Humber owing to stalling through loss of flying speed. The body was recovered.
