ACTING MINISTER SUSPENDED SCENE IN PARLIAMENT CANBERRA, June 16. The Acting Minister for Commerce (Mr A. G. Cameron) was suspended after a scene in the House of Representatives. This is the first occasion in the history of the Commonwealth Parliament that a Minister has been suspended. Mr Cameron’s offence was that he described Mr Wilson (Independent Country Party) as a “ clean skin.” and when he refused to withdraw he was named by the Speaker. His suspension was moved by Mr Lyons. He will be free to return to the House to-day, and the episode will have no repercussions.
