WARNING TO FARMERS
AUSTRALIAN COMPETITION (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 16. “ Once the Australian farmer wakes up and starts to farm in earnest New Zealand will have a most serious competitor,” said the Minister of Agriculture (Mr W. Lee Martin), in addressing a large gathering of farmers and factory managers at the East Tamaki Cooperative Dairy Factory to-day, where a demonstration was held of the new system of butter manufacture by a vacuum process.
