FAT SHEEP A total of 2216 fat sheep was penned, as against 2622 for last sale. In this section the quality also was not as good as at recent sales. Very few prime heavy wethers or ewes were included in the entry, the bulk being only medium weights. The sale opened with values for prime heavy wethers and ewes firmer by Is to 2s, while medium weights sold on a par with last sale. As the sale progressed, values eased, and towards the end of the market sales were hard to make.
