BRITAIN’S WAR DEBTS
OBLIGATIONS TO AMERICA DEFAULT WITH INSTALMENT WASHINGTON, June 14. (Received June 15, at 5.5 p.m.) The British Government has notified the State Department that it will default with the 85,670,000 dollar debt instalment, which is due on June 15. Finland is at present the only nation that has signified its intention to pay as usual, the amount being 161.000 dollars.
